Supported Accommodation and Social Housing
Supported Accommodation and Social Housing
Veridia's core mission begins with delivering great quality social housing, as we know a stable address is the foundation for a successful life. From this primary base, we work to relieve poverty and hardship through sustainable housing, coupled with essential advice, advocacy, and support services that help people maintain tenancies and live independently. We manage supported accommodation for people who are homeless, vulnerable, on low income, or otherwise disadvantaged.
Veridia is currently in the process of registering as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO). Our goal is to formalize our structure to maximize our impact across South Yorkshire
Our work in South Yorkshire is guided by a clear set of charitable purposes for the public benefit. Our core focus is to provide and manage social housing and supported accommodation for those in housing need within Sheffield, Rotherham and surrounding areas. Beyond the housing itself, we work to relieve poverty by providing safe, affordable, and sustainable housing, coupled with advice, advocacy, and support services. We also promote social inclusion and wellbeing by assisting individuals at risk of isolation due to mental or physical ill-health, disability, or other disadvantages. To ensure lasting change, we advance education and training by facilitating access to skills development, employment preparation, and life-skills programmes for our residents.
To achieve our charitable objects, we are developing the ability to acquire, lease, or develop land and property, raise funds, and accept grants and donations. We actively enter into partnerships with statutory bodies, voluntary organisations, and private landlords.
